Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
The Timberwolf Band is a successful program because of our volunteers!
There are a variety of ways to assist the band, we need volunteers for: hospitality, chaperones, pit pack, photography, sewing, nursing, and much more. No experience is required, and volunteers always get the best seats in the house! Please consider lending a hand.
Chaperone
Chaperones attend football games, competitions, and events with the Band. Volunteers accompany students on bus rides and offer assistance at events. This volunteer opportunity puts you in the middle of the action, and it is so rewarding!

The Timberwolf band relies on tons of community support to keep everything running smoothly. Fundraising efforts are ongoing, but the year starts off with two big community events: the Blitz and the March-A-Thon and we rely on parent volunteers to make these events a success. To volunteer:

As seen higher up on this page, the Band has a variety of opportunities to volunteer, but we do have four (4) areas that are very important to Marching Season:
Chaperones: The Band requires chaperones for football games, competitions, and events. Chaperones ride the busses, and assist in keeping the students safe and providing support.
Meal Helpers: These volunteers assist in distributing food for the Band before football games. Volunteers are needed in the late afternoon in the CPHS cafeteria before the students board the busses. This is an easy and fun way to get involved!
Pit Pack: This is an essential job in the Band. On game & competition days, these volunteers are responsible for the loading & delivery of the band’s instruments and show props. Volunteers also help to move & maneuver instruments and props onto the field. This job truly gets a front-row view of the Band! Pit Pack is also the group that develops & builds the show props.
Photographers: At every band event we have a team of photographers with access passes that allow them to capture all the special moments. The pictures taken are downloaded onto our Smug Mug website, and parents are welcome to download photos at no cost.
